What I learned from Dr. Virgil Chrane is that when we are locked in an shock pattern (unresolved fight-or-flight response) a person is in a kind of limbo; ‘stuck’ in the past and apprehensive about the future. (Who says you can’t multi-task!)

It’s a very ‘not-in-the-moment’ way to perceive. We walk through our days no longer defining ourselves in the present. We waste energy regretting the past while burdening our minds with an unsettled future. We’re neither here nor there. There’s no present moment. We design elaborate strategies to relieve that feeling; inevitably this will manifest in all kinds of misperceptions and faux drama. In essence, shock has taken you from this holy moment.

Whenever I receive the Alphabiotic Integration; a freedom, an openness emerges. I become less cumbersome in the moment. It is always such a nostalgic recalling that at my core I am still, present and consequential.
